The 19th century
images are from an 1875 map of the siege of Atlanta compiled and drawn under
the direction of Orlando Poe. The
aerial photography combines lower resolution digital orthophoto quarter quads
(DOQQs) and higher resolution full-color photography of the Georgia Tech
area. The images were generated by
Erdas Virtual GIS software.
Annotations were added in Powerpoint.
