3D Battlefield Images
Chickamauga, Georgia/Tennessee

These images were constructed by combining a digital elevation model with scanned images of topographic maps (digital raster graphics), then overlaying scanned map images from the Conservation Fund’s Civil War Battlefield Guide. The results were displayed with the ArcView 3D Analyst and captured as JPG image files.
